January is National Mentoring Month, a time to celebrate the important work of youth mentoring organizations and focus national attention on the need for more mentors. National Mentoring Month was launched by MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2002 and has been celebrated every January since. Below you’ll find several resources that can help you leverage this national campaign as a tool for mentor recruitment and garner attention for your work!
One in three young people in the United States grows up without a mentor outside their immediate family, and young people with mentors are more likely to succeed in many aspects of life. The Clubhouse Network is one of just a handful of mentoring organizations that reaches thousands of young people in the United States and around the world. National Mentoring Month amplifies our voice by uniting the field in a collective request for individuals, companies, and nonprofits to get involved in youth mentoring.
